Leveraging Social Media in Practice
Come hear social media strategist and marketing expert, Nadia Jones share tips on leveraging social media for your law practice and your career. Nadia has been named a Top People of Color Impacting the Social Web, Top Bloguera by LATISM 2012, 2013, and invited to Washington D.C. for a special White House Retreat for top Latina bloggers. She has spoken on social media at LATISM, Hispanicize, BlogHer, Blogging While Brown, and presented for small business on developing a social media strategy. Nadia was recently featured by Forbes' as a woman of influence in their 30's in the book, Their Roaring Thirties: Brutally Honest Career Talk From Women Who Beat The Youth Trap.

Immigration for Non-Immigration Attorneys
Immigration law expert, Professors Curran and Natalie Tuttle will cover basic Immigration concepts, documents, agencies and an overview of red flag issues for the non-immigration attorney to utilize when identifying how an immigration issue may intersect or overlap with immigration law. They will also cover a specific Family and Juvenile Law area that overlaps with Immigration Law.

Marriage Equality
Professors Sullivan and Tuttle will review the legal history of marriage equality, the current state of marriage equality in Florida and how the most recent decision in Brenner v. Scott will impact general civil practice (most notably family, elder and estate planning)
